Is Kava The Same As Kratom?

No. They are two unrelated plants. Kava is the root of Piper methysticum, a plant in the pepper family from the South Pacific. Kratom is a leaf from a different tree in Southeast Asia. Rooted uses noble kava root only.

Will This Make Me Drowsy?

Focus is made for the day and includes caffeine. Unwind is made for the evening. Everyone responds a little differently.

How Long Do I Keep It In?

Place it between your gum and lip and leave it. It is strongest in the first 15 minutes and lasts for up to 45 minutes. No chewing or swallowing your pouch.

Is There Nicotine In This?

No. There is zero nicotine in every Rooted pouch.

How Many Pouches Are In A Tin?

Every tin holds 15 pouches. The Day + Night bundle includes one tin of each, so 30 pouches total.

Details

Relax without alcohol. UNWIND is your evening ritual. Ease into the night without the wine or the hangover.

Each tin contains 15 pouches with 125mg of kava for a calm, quiet wind-down.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Kava · Ashwagandha · L-Theanine · Theobromine

What's Inside

Every UNWIND pouch pairs 125mg of kava root extract with 40mg of ashwagandha root extract, 30mg of L-Theanine, and 25mg of theobromine. There is no caffeine in UNWIND, so it fits the end of the day. Every active and every dose is printed right on the tin.

Why Theobromine Is In An Evening Pouch

Theobromine is a natural relative of caffeine that occurs naturally in the cacao bean. It is what gives dark chocolate its mellow, warming feel. Because it is related to caffeine, some people wonder why it is in UNWIND. The answer is the dose. At the low 25mg level in UNWIND, theobromine creates a feeling of warm comfort rather than a lift. It rounds out the kava, ashwagandha, and L-Theanine so the evening pouch feels smooth and settled, not sleepy or wired.

How To Use

Place one pouch between your upper lip and gum. Within a few minutes you will notice a light tingle, which is the kava at work. Keep it in as long as feels right, then toss it. Reach for UNWIND after work, before dinner, or anytime you want to mark the end of the day without a drink. For the daytime, pair it with FOCUS.

Perfect after a full day

This has become my go-to when I want something more mellow. I reach for it when I want a more mellow feel without making a whole ritual out of it. The pouch is slim enough that I can forget it is there. Really well done.

Good clean feel

The mint is crisp and the whole experience feels really clean. I like it before a long planning session or when I need to stay on task. The tin looks premium and the pouches are easy to keep with me. I can see myself keeping this stocked.

Rooted Botanicals FOCUS Kava Pouches (Mint)

Smooth mint

I was curious about a nicotine-free pouch and Focus genuinely surprised me. I like having it around for meetings, writing sessions, and long to-do lists. I like that the overall feel is smooth rather than over-the-top. Definitely ordering again.

Great way to shift gears

Unwind feels like the right choice when I want to bring the intensity down a notch. I reach for it when I want a more mellow feel without making a whole ritual out of it. The mint flavor is fresh without being too sharp. Definitely one I will reorder.

Riley Z.

Calm without checking out

This has become my go-to when I want something more mellow. It works just as well for a quiet weekend afternoon as it does at the end of a workday. Nothing about it feels too sweet or too intense. This one is staying in rotation.

Ashley A.

Clean mint and easy feel

This has become my go-to when I want something more mellow. Great for a slow evening, but I also like it during low-key afternoons. The pouch is slim enough that I can forget it is there. I like this more every time I use it.

Megan Q.

Easy choice

I ended up using both more than I expected, just at different times. Focus is what I grab when I want more lift; Unwind is what I grab when I want something calmer. Great way to keep both options on hand.

If you are new to Rooted, I think the bundle is the easiest way to figure out what you like. Both tins feel polished and the contrast between them is exactly what I wanted. Both earned a place in my routine.

Jordan Y.

Really impressed

This is exactly the kind of pouch I wanted for long work blocks and busy days. I like it before a long planning session or when I need to stay on task. The tin looks premium and the pouches are easy to keep with me. Simple, clean, and easy to work into my day.

Cameron T.

Feels thoughtfully made

Unwind is calm without making me feel checked out. I like that I can decide when it makes sense instead of treating it like a sleep product. The mint flavor is fresh without being too sharp.

Nate X.

Best way to try Rooted

I like having both tins around and picking based on what I want from the moment. Focus feels more dialed-in to me, while Unwind is the one I reach for when I want to slow the pace down. The packaging is simple, premium, and looks great together. Really happy I tried both.

Hayden Z.

Focus stays in my bag

I wanted something simple I could use during the day, and this checks that box. I like having it around for meetings, writing sessions, and long to-do lists. The mint is cool and clean without taking over. Simple, clean, and easy to work into my day.

Alex Y.

Both feel distinct

The two formulas actually feel distinct enough that the bundle is worth it. It is easy to keep one at my desk and one in my bag depending on what I want. The mint flavor is consistent across both and neither one feels bulky. Really happy I tried both.
